Websites for Painting Contractors

Painting is the one trade where the customer can see the product, which means your site lives or dies on photographs. A homeowner comparing three painters is comparing three galleries, and the one with real finished rooms wins before anyone talks price.

Most contractor sites handle photos badly. They're phone shots at the wrong angle, dumped in a grid, loading slowly enough that people scroll past. That's a real loss on a job that sells visually.

So a painter's build is laid out around the work: proper galleries, before-and-afters where you have them, and images sized so they actually load on a phone. If your photos are thin right now, we'll tell you that honestly rather than build a gallery around six pictures.

What goes on a painter’s site

  • A real gallery — sized and compressed so it loads fast on a phone
  • Before-and-after pairs where you have them
  • Interior and exterior as separate service pages, since people search them separately
  • Cabinet refinishing and specialty finishes called out if you take that work
  • A service-area page listing the cities you cover
  • Reviews on the page, next to the work they describe

Straight answers

My photos are all on my phone. Is that a problem?

Phone photos are fine — most of what goes on these sites started on a phone. Send what you have and we'll pick, crop, and size them. If there genuinely aren't enough to fill a gallery, we'll say so instead of stretching six pictures across a page.

Do you do the photography?

No. Photography isn't part of the build, and we'd rather tell you that than quietly do a bad job of it.

Can I add photos myself later?

Send them over and they go up — that’s what the monthly covers, up to 30 minutes of changes. No platform for you to learn.
